Weather Immersion

Weather Immersion adds atmospheric, biome-aware weather. Rain gains wind-driven streaks, water ripples, crown splashes, surface drips, and thunderstorm fog. Snowy areas get blizzards, while deserts, mesas, and badlands get sandstorms.

Weather Immersion makes storms feel more dramatic without commands.
Weather Immersion rain
Most exposed areas receive immersive rain effects.
Weather Immersion blizzard
Snow and ice areas can become dense blizzards.
Weather Immersion sandstorm
Sand and terracotta areas can become low-visibility sandstorms.

The add-on detects surrounding blocks: snow or ice gives blizzards, sand or terracotta gives sandstorms, and other exposed areas receive immersive rain. Effects stop underground, inside buildings, underwater, or when weather clears.

Effect breakdown

Weather typeDetails
Immersive rainFalling rain streaks, wind direction, drizzle sheets, water ripples, crown splashes, impact waves, surface drips, thunderstorm fog, and mist during heavy storms.
BlizzardDense wind-driven snowfall, snowflake particles, horizontal wind streaks, ground swirl, whiteout mist, and heavy visibility reduction in frozen/snowy biomes during thunderstorms.
SandstormThick sand clouds, gritty particles, sand sweep sheets, ground dust, warm brown fog, and denser thunderstorm effects in deserts, mesas, and badlands.
Automatic detectionSnow/ice produces blizzards, sand/terracotta produces sandstorms, and most other exposed areas produce immersive rain. Effects stop underground, inside buildings, underwater, or when weather clears.
